Premier Cru. Pinot Noir, planted 1969 and 1973, 0.39 ha in Aux Argillas, Nuits-Saint-Georges.
Planted from north to south, clay-limestone soil. 100% de-stemmed (65% whole berries), minimal punch-downs. Aged 18 months in barrels (50% one-year-old, 50% new), racked once before bottling. Vines in this parcel are pruned to Guyot simple. Harvest is entirely by hand with yields of approximately 34 hL per hectare.
