From the Vosne-Romanée side, near Les Chaumes and Les Réas, clay-limestone soil. 100% de-stemmed (65% whole berries), minimal punch-downs. Aged 16 months in barrels (60% one-year-old, 40% new), racked once before bottling. Vines in this parcel are pruned to Guyot simple and often have a lot of millerandage, which gives more concentrated flavors to the wine. Harvest is entirely by hand with yields of approximately 33 hL per hectare.
