Village. Pinot Noir, planted 1929, 1975, 0.33 ha in Les Athets, Chambolle-Musigny.
From the lowest part of the village, early-ripening, clay and silt soil with limestone. Careful de-stemming (65% whole berries), minimal punch-downs. Aged 16 months in barrels (67% one-year-old, 33% new), racked once before bottling. Vines in this parcel are pruned to Guyot simple and have SO4 rootstock. Harvest is entirely by hand with yields of approximately 36 hL per hectare.
