Village. Pinot Noir, planted 1973, 0.41 ha in La Place, Fixin.
From upper Fixin, facing east to west, gentle slope, silt and clay soil with limestone. Careful de-stemming (65% whole berries), cold pre-fermentation maceration (10°C), minimal punch-downs. Aged 16 months in barrels (70% one-year-old, 30% new), racked once before bottling. Vines are pruned to Guyot simple. Harvest is entirely by hand with yields of about 36 hL per hectare.
