Grand Cru. Pinot Noir, planted 1937, 0.34 ha in Les Treux (Echézeaux), Flagey-Echézeaux.

Next to Grands Echézeaux, little to no slope, planted from east to west, clay-limestone soil. 100% de-stemmed (65% whole berries), minimal punch-downs. Aged 18 months in barrels (20% one-year-old, 80% new), racked once before bottling. Vines in this parcel are pruned to the traditional Burgundian Guyot simple. Harvest is entirely by hand with yields of approximately 33 hL per hectare.
